@bigredmarx Dam right, i just saw them last night at the Fox in detroit. This song and reignholder are the best, but the entire mer de noms cd is from front to back the best album i think ever made.

@chimaera01 I agree with you. Coupled with the one minute buildup, in my opinion, it's a very powerful wrap up. I crossed my arms down on my desk, buried my face in them, and went for a swim in this song.

Maynard's voice is just so hauntingly beautiful at 3:52. I've been watching this clip since it was first posted back in 2007 and to this day I still feel the same way I did the very first time I saw it. There'll never be another quite like Maynard in all of rock.

I thought I read he had pretty much recorded all the tracks before they ever even decided to form a band. Maybe that didn't include the lyrics - ah well. Enjoy it for what it is. @zzsharka
