Video of me unboxing the Makerbot CNC machine delivered this weekend. Love this machine. It has so many parts to assemble, but once done, it'll start printing some sweet 3D objects. checkout http://makerbot.com for more info.
I'll be bringing this to PDC for a cool activity.

i just convinced my school to order one, and they just gave me the thumbs up go get it. watching this almost brings a tear to my eye for how excited i am.

I agree get rid of the cold soldering pen iron. What you need is a 250 watt pistol grip Weller soldering iron. This way you have no trouble heating joints to be soldered and of course no cold colder joints! With any project always have on hand the handyman's secret weapon...DUCT TAPE !!! Silver colored is traditional but colored to keep thing s coordinated is ok too.

@ecahseb I got the advanced package with everything required. it helps a lot :) there are lots of spares too.
