And you thought Spy Fox: Hold the Mustard was long! This is officially the longest walkthrough I have ever made. Here's Rayman 2, one of my all-time favorite video games. There are plenty of walkthroughs for this game already, but none of them are single-part, the primary gimmick with my videos. To compensate for those who just want to see a specific level, I have included the time frames. So let's start the level-by-level comments, shall we?
Intro (0:34): The sliding section is easy stuff. The red lums will always go to you, so you don't need to worry about getting them.
Woods of Light (4:29): Easy stuff.
Fairy Glade (10:17): Regarding 100% completion, I will not be getting all the lums. They don't serve a big purpose for getting all of them other than advancing forward in the game. I did try to get as many as I could though. There is a cage here we won't be seeing until much later. Other than that, nothing too much to say.
Marshes of Awakening (27:54): I was surprised to get every lum in one shot. That usually doesn't happen.
Bayou (31:46): I decided to do the Walk of Life here. This level isn't too eventful.
Sanctuary of Water and Ice (44:16): If you can't tell, I'm an impatient person. Since Rayman walks so slow while holding stuff, I kept throwing the orbs. Axel is a total pushover.
Menhir Hills Visit 1 (55:09): I decided to have some fun with the pirates by sneaking right past them. I got a little carried away on accelerating and accidentally crashed at one point.
Cave of Bad Dreams (1:02:14): Easy stuff.
Menhir Hills Visit 2 (1:17:08): I used to think the third missile section was tough, and now I find it easy.
Canopy (1:23:15): I always loved that one part: "Everything's okay, it's just a nosed bush!" Not too much to say about the level itself. The charge shot can really help speed things up though.
Whale Bay (1:32:20): *Yawn* Is this level done yet? This is my least favorite level, because it's SO BORING. It's a water level, so I guess it can be expected, but there's very little actual platforming and few enemies to fight. Overall, we could have really gone without this level.
Sanctuary of Stone and Fire (103:52): This one is loooooong, especially when you do the extra area like I did. We get introduced to the black fuzzy balls, who aren't really hard, just annoying.
Echoing Caves (2:12:36): This is where you can get the missing cage in the Fairy Glade as well as five lums. Not much to say about the level.
Precipice (2:24:34): I LOVE this level. The music is epic, it's challenging, fast paced...this whole level is just awesome.
Top of the World (2:33:31): Easy stuff.
Sanctuary of Rock and Lava (2:40:57): Not much to say.
Beneath the Sanctuary of Rock and Lava (2:53:31): Really? They couldn't come up with a better name? I used to think this was the hardest level in the game, but it really isn't. You just have to get used to it. I did the Walk of Power here.
Tomb of the Ainceints (3:04:10): Another boring level. At least I got the 1000th lum.
Iron Mountains (3:21:57): Another fun level, mostly when you have fun with gravity.
Prison Ship (3:42:17): I love the music in the missile ride. I failed several times here though.
Crow's Nest (3:52:12): This part was originally way longer, but I cut the failures out.
Amazing, the whole game in just one video!
Mate, can I please use this game-play footage in a review I'm about to do, it would really help me and I'll credit your channel.
I just can't get the footage myself.
