  • What is the dimensions of your cylenders? boar and stroke.

    The pistons are of course square, 6x6 studs, with a 7 brick stroke. With two double acting cylinders it gives a displacement of 560cc.

  • Steam engines are the best engine ever. I love watching the parts move in this one. It's so uniform.

  • Yes it took quite a bit of "tweeking" the valve timing to get 4 uniform power strokes. Note also the big crankshaft balance weights arranged so the engine has no tendency to stop in any particular position.

  • Its vacuum not steam. Great!

  • Thanks. It does work just as well with the cleaner blowing so you technically you could use steam but at 100 degrees I doubt the lego would last very long.
