  • Hi,

This would work on basic tripod having 1/4" screw..

  • Hi.. weight is around 4kg. its is about shoulder rig + follow focus+ mattebox (the accessories that can be used with camera to enhance quality of video)..

  • can i ask you if the follow focus will work on my canon 50mm f 1.8 lens? i'm asking because the focus ring on that lens is not really good..thanks

  • Hi, the follow focus will not work with canon 50mm f 1.8 lens..

  • @dvcity1 thank you for the reply, do you possibly know a way to make it work? do I need to buy something in addition or it is just impossibile?

  • We have another gear ring for follow focus that can fit your lens. Please contact me at sales(at)dvcity(dot)com - I will send you the image for the gear ring

Or give me your email id..

  • @barrettbrothersfilms you can mount both ways, it just depends on the persons dominant hand.

  • This is probably a dumb question but I'll ask anyway. Why (when DSLR is used) is the follow focus mounted on the right side of the camera rather than the common left hand mounting? Even the cameraman in your own video reaches up and focuses the actual lens with his left hand - he didn't even touch the FF. - makes it seem pretty useless for non-leftys...

Can your FF also be mounted on the left with DSLRs, as it is with full-bodies in your other Kit-3 video? I'd like to order two full rigs.

  • I have been wanting to review that setup for some time now, but the funds just never seem to be available.

  • would this work on a basic tripod?

  • @sprayframe I seen on a review that it is mainly because of the plastic bracket that is standard, you can order a metal bracket from the website that should remove the wobble, but not 100 % sure cause... I don't own it... :/ lol

  • @dvcity1 Ive made one with a follow focus via the handle to fit the 1.8 lens

  • I like running without shoulder mount, cause it looks like Clumsy beast is shasing her xDDD
