Lol best place to fish!!! Ive tried tying a rock to a hook and still caught a walleye. Theres too many of them best place to train amerature fishermen
slipbobbers in the trees right now is hot. Trolling cranks and bottom bouncers with a crawler are working to. From shore Id try a simple lindy rig from shore(half oz walleye sinker with a plain hook and leech slowly drag it back to shore) near the bridges. As for area from boat doesnt really matter slipbobbers near the casino in the trees has been good, near six mile bay, Graham's island also.
some of my best days on devils lake have been from shore. I like taking the boat out but you can definitely catch walleye year round near any structure and bridges around devils lake
haha ok.. from my understanding of FISH they dont just sit out in open water unless they're feeding. so then they mainly hide in structure which is probably where the boat was ontop hitting the sweet spot of walleyes
