  • Thank you so much for remembering our brave US soldiers that were lost in this tragic but decisive battle. God bless you. But us americans cant take all the credit. I must say that the British, Canadians, and the French Resistance also played a big roll in the normandy invasion. We probably couldn't do it with out them. But yet again thank you for remembering what these brave men did.

  • The Statue of Liberty wasn't a "christmas gift", but a gift to the US for the Centennial birthday of the country. The French never asked us to go into Vietnam. It was over 4 years after they left that we decided to go ther and get involved!! The French had nothing to do with our involvement there. We could have stayed out after they left, but no, we just had to stick our noses deep into it. What grade did you attain before dropping out of school?

  • i was in this! you can see my friend brady in the concave part of the letter C in his mustard-yellow hoodie...we happened to be on Omaha Beach at the perfect timing...we were merely on a high school trip to France!

  • This is i'm sorry this is Bullshit. The French are now under Zionist rule meaning the middle class giveing up and over 80% of there earning to the state (the black hole)France is a so called member of the EU but there is no Polish English German workers in the spirit of this EU that i can see only retired English Irish Germans living out what they are intitled to .But in the villages they have come to they are blamed for pushing up house prices........cant win or even be equal.Arabs everywhere

  • Made for some good video games though.

  • @WW2tactics, USA supported France in Vietnam with military & civilain technicians, pilots, etc. & eventually supplied 75% of the equipment used by the French. When Ho took over hanoi the USA sent carrier aircraft to honor his victory & uniformed OSS officers were on the review stand with Ho. Unfortuantely due to Cold war politics etc. we became involved in there when there possibly may have been a peaceful solution. I don't know, but there have never been free elections held in Vietnam.

  • This is beautiful

    From America to France: Merci

  • legoboyfan2, Many of the landing craft were crewed by Brit RN crews, & they took well over 100 casualties at Omaha, & there were RN cruisers & destroyers as well as 2 fine French cruisers in addition to our USN ships providing fire support. There were USA troops & sailors & ships at the Brit & Canadian beaches also in support roles. Total USA casualties (all KIA, WIA, & MIA) are ~4,700 or so at Omaha.

  • rest in peace forgot that
