Thank you for the kind words. I've loved this song since I bought the album in the late 70s. Actually, the entire album is great, and so much of my past seems entangled with the songs on the _Souvenir_ album--a sort of soundtrack to my childhood.

Thanks! Originally I didn't try for the distance in the sound of the music, but it was there, and it just happened to work well with the slide show and the song content. I got lucky. ;)

Thanks. I think 2006 was the high point of my singing and playing. And then we had our second child, and . . . well, life got exponentially more busy.

I enjoyed putting together this slide show; it was more satisfying than the "Candle in the Wind" slide show. (And it went together much faster.)

Yes, Billy Joel is great. I remember buying the _Souvenir_ album in 1977 and wearing out that tape. Actually, I think I might have had the record first and then the tape. I still have the tape, but it screeches like crazy in my tape player.

Anyway, I really loved that album.
