  • Beautiful strings! Do you have control over the tuning of the celeste ranks of this organ? Lovely playing, as always!

  • Yes, I can change the settings in different ways, but this is the default setting by the manufacturer.

  • This is beautiful... I'm curious about that organ! Is it a Rodgers? How many ranks does it immitate? Internal Speakers?

  • It's an Ahlborn Organum II, one of the best digital organs on the market. It has 47 stops and a 7-way internal speaker system.

  • Beautiful and so serene.. great job as usual..like the registrations ...Bill

  • Thanks, Bill.

  • I discovered this a couple of weeks back. Thank you for recording such an obscure but engaging piece. I have hunted up a few Bruce Steane compositions from various numbers of "The Village Organist" and hope also to be able to find the sheet music for "Evensong" as well. Much appreciated.

  • Beautiful. Calming. Soothing. Very English. Let me close my Eyes and I find myself back in England, sitting at the choir stalls of an old cathedral and just let go...Also love that registration very much (especially the combination of Weidenpfeife and vox coelestis). Thank you.
