Peace go with you brother.... Gil, you were like a father to me. I never met my real dad. My step-dad lost the battle to the bottle in 1978.
Since I met you at the University of Puget Sound, a poetry reading, Dick Gregory was there too, I often. very often listened to your poems. They gave me strength, direction.

I feel the Lord is calling all of his messengers home for the awakening. This is not rapture but "REVOLUTION"! It's up to us to make this broken World work! What have you done today to make Mr. Scott-Heron life celebrated?
