still miss Dan and more music. I think about all the great music he must have recorded over the years that we never heard--songs he couldnt fit on albums--they're probably lot --makes me sad we never will hear them....Jean has been great with releading Love In Time and I think I read she is getting a book together--hope its soon!

We caught his tour in Memphis just before we married. It was an amazing show. I remember Russ Kunkel on drums and Joe Vitale on flute and woodwinds. Not too damn shabby! Too bad the sound is so muddy, but thanks for posting this. Good memories.

I remember buying this on vinyl when it came out and taking it home and listening to these opening numbers for the first time. WOW~ ! I just put on the headphones and laid on the floor and was taken away.

I saw this tour when he came to Chicago. It was incredible. that was Barry Burton from the Amazing Rhythm Aces on guitar, Kenny Pasarelli on bass and I think Russ Kunkel on drums. Thanks for posting this. My one regret is that I never met him. What a great talent.

It is still hard to believe he passed. Jeanne has been kind enough to update some photos on Dan's website...there is a great photo and explanation of Dan ice skating (after his dx and treatment). He looks really great in it..even though he was weakened. Take a look. Greg
