Thanks for the tip. I am THIS CLOSE to cutting the HH and sewing in my own zipper and I think I am going to like it more as a Top-Loader.

Great video. I also have the Hennessy, but I have velcro. Did you Mod it to use a zipper? I have Modified mine to use Whoopie slings instead of the rope and rings and is so much lighter. I would love to know how the zipper got there. did you add it or buy it that way?

@convert2010 The side zipper was added to Hennessy's line of Hammocks last year. Though I have read of places you can send your hammock to and they can mod it to your specifications. I cannot recall the name, but one actually has preset packages with different mods they have already done for several others already.
I'll have to check out the Whoopie sling. Good luck!

@mcsparron Unfortunately that was my last outing of 2010. I have the first trip of 2011 already planned out for a couple of months from now. I'll be testing it out again then.
Regarding the extra tie out points on the tarp that I mentioned, a friend of my found an alternative, Sierra Designs Grip Clips. They come in a pack of four for around $12 us. I'll be testing those out on my next trip along with a couple of tarp mods I have designed. Only in CAD though....
