This was the first brand new car I owned and yes it was excellent for drifting. Of course we didn't call it drifting back then. And it was fast but I wasn't the fastest car on the road. I could eat Mustangs for lunch all day long but I did not mess with a big block GTO, Malibu SS or Corvette. Top speed was in excess of 130 mph.

@Joe19904 Here is an update on the motors installed in the Barracuda new for 1969 the 440 Super Commando V8 was added. It wasn't a race only car like the 426 Hemi of the SS racers. There where 440 cars raced in SS to but not so many. Would have been a wild ride for sure. I have a 67 B-Cuda notch back in yellow. But no 383 or 440 for me as of yet.lol Do have one that just needs reassembling thou. That could work if needs be. MOPAR's are V-nice Best, yl
