Internet Time - a Guggenheim Play Entry

50 years of disasters - Hiroshima boming, Hindenberg crash, Space Shuttle Columbia explosion. This video explorers the compression of time possible with multiple streams of video covering different time spans and different points in time simultaneously.

In a different environment, one might play these three images on three screens, or three monitors, or three YouTube windows. A presentation option that will be explored by me.

This video presents 3 disasters spread almost 50 years apart. Originally they were broadcast at the time they occurred. Since then they have been rebroadcast sequentially on television. Here they appear visually to occur at the same time.
