This is a very old model!! even the keyboard keys aren't seperated!! so you must buy a new one

Hey, I have almost the same problem with my macbook pro from 2009. It happens that it won't start some times. I don't have an apple store in my country. I'm a PC user but I bought this mac and I have it for some time. I like it more than any PC I had desktop or laptop. But this problem is worrying me. It just started recently.

wow my macbook pro was in a car accident (no seatbelt) and is now litterally cutting-edge (the front is split open) but it still works fine :-)

My macbook 3.1 with the nvidia card had already 4 logic board replacements in 1.5 years old he had, works fine for a few months and then fails again :(

@mag1cac3 just take it to your nearest Apple Store, i think they will fix it for you for free if you got the same display chips problem like me. :)

@relaxer12 Hi, it just took no more a week and I didn't lose any data. You should contact your nearest apple store to get help.
