hey i was wondering if you still help people out with xmugen. your links is not active anymore. i want to try and get xmugen working on my box again. i've tried a few times over the last few years and always gave up. i actually got it working once.. along time ago, but stuffed it up by figit-ing around with it and since then never was able to get xmugen working again.. i've tried a whole bunch of different version since then also but always getting the attempted to kill init! error.

hey i can try to help how do you launch your xbe? I suggest unleash x sometimes there are issues running from media center though it is possible...pm me with a link to the files you are using....sorry the links are dead...i have no plans to reupload either sorry...working on 360 jtag stuff mostly these days....

i have found a version with maybe 50 characters that can be booted from a dvd, however, when i try to add more characters and reburn the image, gentoox says it cant boot the disc. Any suggestions?

remember xmugen is linmugen which is CASE SENSITIVE I once had an xmugen dvd i made with 250 + chars....so it has nothjing to do with adding chars necessarily...just how you add them..,but since you dont even make it to select.def (vs screen) i doubt it is your issue nwayz...

is this the same with adding screen packs? I am trying to create a screen pack for xmugen I read the readme's and so on and still can't find a way to make xmugen load my screen pack.

if you like upload somewhere and i can review your files....yes since you are running in linmugen essentially if your FILENAMES are UPPERCASE xmugen will crash due to this....

lol i just read on an old thread that someone suggested that your xmugen build was one of the most stable. but yeha it's all good. after a few hours of reading forums. i thnk i found my problem. it says has something to do with the way my hdd was partitioned. just in the process of backing up my hdd a.t.m. wich is 500gig.. taking ages ftpin. wish i was able to jtag my banned 360, was watching your vids on homebrew..

ok thanks I will and I will send you the link. Yeah I have the xmugen renamer. I am able to use the basic mugen screenpack that comes with xmugen and my characters, stages, and music all work. The problem comes when I try to use my own screen pack.
