We are driving through some villages in Russia,Karelya in the summer of 2007, very exiting to see the villages, and the nice friendly people who´s living there

Beautiful movie. But unfortunately in these villages is better to travel than live.

I know about it, for people like me it´s so different, i always like to travels in Russia and feel the atmosphere, this summer me and a friend of me did a 4000 km trip and i hope i´ll go back again,

the music you wonder about is Enya with the song Evacuee

this is amazing!! I grew up in Canada, during the cold war 70s and 80s and these people were our 'arch enemies' - they were just like us, struggling with life and living..... that is all.... I had the opp of visiting Hungary and the Ukraine again and the warmth and friendliness of these people was unrivalled to the West.... I just hope that all of these nations will see better times with more hope for their children.....

Yes, communism was "slow death poison" for both our countries. It was silly economic utopia.But 1990-1999 years in Russia was much worse.
