This is a video game and it shouldn't be taken into realistic means, but hardscoping is much more realistic in terms of relating to actual gun usage. First thing first, "quickscoping" is not the 'newest' thing in sniping. It's been around for ages...before the cod franchise. If anything the cod franchise ruined what skill was required in quickscoping with the auto-aim assist...
Secondly, HAHAH WTF is this "hardscoping" nonsense, last time I played...aiming down the scope just meant you were picking or "sniping". Just call it sniping...
