  • I rather like seeing Sharpe playing the common soldier for a bit. It's a nice change of pace. And they talk so much about how he was raised from the ranks, so it's a good chance to see what he's like back down in the ranks.

  • It would be incredibly hard to look at all serious while wearing one of those caps.

    And Simmerson keeps getting worse and worse every time he turns up- or maybe it's jsut that we're seeing more of him. High time he kicked the bucket, preferably at the end of Sharpe's sword.
