Focus on the blessings of having a father and brother you had a loving relationship with. Not everyone is blessed with good relatives. Be thankful your father was able to live a long life. Still, I know these losses are hard and will be painful for awhile. I dearly love the King James Bible, although modern translations are also good. I find comfort in King James at such times.

Next month will be 30 years that My Dad has been gone.June will be 11 years that my Mom has been gone.This is the hard part of the walk.

I lost my Dad one year ago on the 25th of January (next Monday). It was very sudden and he was only 48. Too young. It reminded me of how precious life is and that you should treasure those special moments in life. Sorry for your loss. I will pray for you and yours.

I lost my dad in march last year, me here in Canada him back there in one of Former Yugoslavia torn newborn countries called bosnia. Had to fly there to organize all... funeral etc.... I know how you feel bud.
