See my RAGE PC review here: http://imbacore.blogspot.com/2012/02/rage-pc-review.html

The full "How to Solve the RAGE Texture Streaming Pop-in Bug" guide can be found here: http://imbacore.blogspot.com/2011/10/how-to-solve-rage-texture-streaming-pop....

Several days back I discovered Nvidia's "How To Unlock Rage's High Resolution Textures With A Few Simple Tweaks" article. Due to the high amount of users (including me) complaining about RAGE's pop-in texture bug, I decided to apply what I learned from that article into MINIMIZING my visual settings in order to combat the texture anisotropy bug in RAGE. I recorded the result of what would be a RAGE tweak guide for players with low-end machines.

  • @moad Tell me about it. I had to tinker around a long while to get it working like that. Methinks I need to buy another 2GB of RAM though; I don't think 2GB cuts it for this game --- I just found out that I can run the game at 1024 resolution at a solid, steady 60 frames per second. There's just a lot of hitching going on. Methinks it's the PC using the page file excessively. I'll give you a link to my tweak guide soon as I post it tomorrow.
