No, the only games you need the Expansion Pak for are Majora's Mask and Donkey Kong 64.

I don't recommend getting one as a replacement to your Analog, since some games would be very difficult to play(like Smash Bros or Tony Hawk). But I do recommend getting one as an optional input.

it seem useless but its not its good cuz u play with anolog stick overtime it gets used up and could break with this divce u dnt need to use the anolog stick
