Is the password you're supposed to type into the "login prompt" the one when you first start on your computer? Because whenever I try it doesn't work.

@LightSwifty The router password has nothing to do with your computer. Every router comes with a default password. If no one has changed it, it will be the factory default

@Th3InsaneMidget Google for a manual for that particular router. You can reset to factory defaults.

I bought a router from a thrift store and i did all your instructions up to the point of the login, and this router has a password set up on it and it not the preset login. Is to possible to reset the router or should i return it.
