"Oh, shut the ~yay~ up."
You, my good sir, have just earned yourself one free Internet.

All Ponies fail their Element of Harmony sooner or later. But that isn't any reason to like them less. It shows of good writing. They are not one dimensional charakters, who get branded with one trait only and keep to it from beginning to end. They are multidimensional personalities, sometimes winning, sometimes failing. That makes them all the more enganging and interesting. The ponies are not perfekt. And that is what makes us love them.

Thank you for professing an insightful look at what honesty entails. I'm happy to know I'm not the only one who feels this way.

People aren't simple. Applejack obviously did not like lying in Party of One, and it showed. She used an impressive amount of willpower to resist her natural impulses for what she thought was the greater good.
-
Further Justification of Issue #2:
There WAS some construction going on. They were setting up the party, which could have involved SOME construction.
It's not totally untruthful to say that there was construction going on.

Applejack is a interesting character, being so level headed and down to earth compared to other ponies. I hope they explore her flaws such as being stubborn (applebucking season), but yes she doesn't lie much at all so its a moot point IMHO.

Fluttershy = best censor ever!

I guess. It just seems weird to me. But I'm not here to discuss morality, so I guess we'll leave it at that.

@KnallisSillan yeah but i meant sodomy... thats the forbiddenfruit part... the mane6 are still horses aka animals.
"Say you were someone who were highly against the use of illegal drugs (which I'm not, don't worry this is all hypothethical)"
So you're NOT against the use of illegal drugs?

@Flumong Seems perfectly clear that's what I said, isn't it?

What do you think of Rainbow Dash losing Loyalty? To me it doesn't make sense. Discord tricked her into believing her home was being destroyed. At that point it's Loyalty to Friends vs. Loyalty to Home. She is still showing Loyalty by racing off to rescue her home.

@EvanOntiveros24 It was a very rash decision on her part. Sure in that instant you'd want to turn tail and head to your home, but you need to think about the whole situation. She could have stayed knowing that her home was destroyed, but her leaving made it impossible for them to get the elements in the maze game. So she chose one place over the entire world. If she had thought that out fully, she would have known that she should have stayed loyal to her friends.

@LiosRa It's a good point, but it still shows loyalty towards her home. And think about it, if Cloudsdale really was being destroyed, what would that mean for Ponyville. No weather=No life. It was a rash decision, but better than risking losing family, house, and weather.

@EvanOntiveros24 That's assuming that Cloudsdale is the only pegasus city in Equetria, but now we're delving into overanalysis. The fact is that she allowed the entire world to delve into chaos by leaving and forcing the game to be lost. In the grand scheme of things, it would have been a much better decision to keep to the plan and find the elements.
