Shiley has had to recall tracheostomy tubes because of this defect where the cuff ruptures without reason after about 1-2 months of usage. I had this trach in for 2 months they should last for 3 months

  • wat dose it do dose it help u breath?

  • @vonnie445 bypasses my upper airways and also it allows direct access for suctioning my lower airway and also lets me use a ventilator (breathing machine)

  • Also the dr said my son cannot use a passy muir speaking valve with that type of vent so I can hear him a little through the leak is that how you can talk?

  • @5150maddness hi 5150 i can use a valve and i talk using the leak. suctioning does not hurt nor is it uncomfortable for me

  • Hello my friend. Haven't seen you or your video's lately. You're a very strong, and inspiring young man and it isn't fair for anyone to endure these problems... I am praying for you and the doctors.
