92KTU New York Paco Supermix - The Latin Rascals + KTU Classics 1983 or 1984

Paco Supermix are legendary, in the 80s there were mixcontests on New Yorks Radiostations like 92KTU, 98.7KISS FM. Paco Supermix is one of the contestshows on 92KTU. Enjoy

The first 3 minutes are similar to the end of the Paco Supermix No.:3 in my channel!

contains a freestyle mixing part from the Latin Rascals and a part of KTU Classics like "Alisha - All night passion" and another unknown smasher.

  • I just love The Way of Life remix by the Latin Rascals. Wish the whole thing was here! Thanks for the nostalgia!

  • @hart70 It's crazy, a couple of weeks ago i bought the single cd's of Alisha - All night passion, and The Puppets - The way of Live. But when I listen to the cd's it never comes that feeling like listen to this tape with the ugly soundquality. The tapesound lives! If you know what I'm talking about. ;)

  • @damlost I will not say that paco never stolen a mix or what ever. I have not the background informations. But, here is Paco PRESENTING a mix from the Latin Rascals. At 0:17 he announce ... "The Latin Rascals if you know what I'm talking about" .. Paco presents mixes at KTU from several DJ, Edit and Mixmasters in his show, like "LatinRascals", "Aldo Marin", "The Dynamic Duo" and many more, that was the program. He announces the Artists everytime. The Latin Rascals are named by him!

  • Thanks for posting. This takes me back to my days in junior high school.

  • I grew up with the Latin Rascals East River Projects nyc Spanish Harlem, best mixes of all time. I was just 14 when they did this wow!!!!!

  • @miller4th502nd Tape sound activates certain endorphins you can't duplicate with CD quality :(

  • "Who You Stealing From" was a DIS record against Twilight 22 "Electric Kingdom" for biting Planet Patrol.

    @mesonez

    LOL how can it be lil suzie, when this mix is from 1983/1984, and lil suzi came out in 1993 with take me in your arms? time machine? ;)

    no no no .. it's "Guru - Who you stealin from" a classic jam.

  • @drwiggleston

    No, it's "Guru - Who you stealin from" ;)

  • @VorteXFilmZ

    That sounds like Planet Patrol's, Play ay own risk. During the mix the Rascals used some FX so the synth sounds a bit altered. Im pretty sure thats the song.
