Cap and trade failed in Spain. They have lost jobs and the Spanish government has been pouring billions into the economy for years to keep green jobs viable. Oh and by the way the name the Spanish use for the jobs that were created by cap and trade is "sub-prime" jobs...ring a bell?! America's gotta wake up!

If Americans can have both sides debated, America wins. The problem is that the left is so dominant in all branches of Government that this cant be debated fairly. And lets not forget that the media controls the message that gets out to average folks. Er... "Fair" is a bit of a stretch. Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that Fox News exists and is doing well, and I absolutely support the presence of an alternative point of view to the irritatingly facile mainstream media, but Fox News is not "fair" or "balanced". By the way, I have no problem whatsoever with that; it's a private organisation and should be run the way its managers and customers want.

I agree with everything that you just said but I would add that you don't get away with hoodwinking the people for very long. The fundamental problem that the left have is that their european model is flawed and hurts people. nothing is more elitist, Sarkozy campaigned on the idea that you should be able to get ahead regardless of what your surname is or where you come from in france. If western countries head down this road the elites will be fine its the rest of us that will suffer.
