Well, in your example, that original invention itself IS innovation. There are certainly different levels of innovation but at the heart of the concept of business innovation is the idea of original, unique value. Thus, innovation is about origination.

@jrr0385 think about it if i invented somthing the hard part is already over.so if u com along and improve it,change the flavor, or the color....thats called innovation. the easy part. dig?
