Episode 15: Princess Allura puts the whole team in jeopardy when she tries to pilot the Black Lion without permission. Knowing no way to make it up to her friends, she surrenders herself to Prince Lotor in exchange for the freedom of Planet Arus. Enchanted by her beauty, Lotor accepts. But Keith and Voltron Force have a plan of their own.

@CatzGNA If Zarkon and company wanted military tactics, they would have simply fired the interplanetary equivalent of ICBMs, ground troops, artillery and attacks from orbit on Arus and destroyed them that way, lions, Voltron and all. Yes, you could say he'll lose the slaves and resources of Arus, but the psychological warfare aspect could also be a plus, destroyed planet and super robot, a lot would bend to his will rather quickly. Not fancy or in line with a kid's show but gets the job done.

The thing i never understood why not form voltron in the beginning as the lions by them selves were putting much useless by themselves.
