You know I feel strangely richer for stories like this. Could a person become a child molester because they had been raped as a child ? Yes, there is clear evidence. But why the Bigfoot claim ? You don't think he actually said he had been raped by a big foot, not bigfoot i.e. a sasquatch ?

Personally, my position on the existance of Bigfoot is "Probably Not". I'm an agnostic towards Bigfoot, but i think there's like a 25% chance that he exists. So, probably not. However, I have even LESS belief in paranormal researchers like ghosthunters.

If it was meant as a joke, that would be another story, but if they were doing serious "journalism" then they were doing a terrible job of it.

If it was a joke it would have been one of the most sly subtle and dry jokes ever told, especially given the absurdity of the topic. It probably still would have gone over most peoples heads. But the fact that it was an actual news story, meant to inform the public is an outrage.

You`re totally right!! The media likes to entertain people, perhaps to distract them from reality and the real problems in society.... Its like she`s misleading people to make them think that it is posible for this to happen!! You made a good point... Is journalism a freak show now a days?
