I love this Art! Proud to be Pinoy! Its so sad that It's more popular in foreign Countries than in my own Country...we should incorporate this in our schools of study like Highschool and College levels in Philippines And make it A Requirement!

I disagree, Arnis is alive in the Philippines. There are a lot of practitioners but sad to say, for most Filipinos Arnis is not as cool as Karate, Tae Kwon Do and BJJ

this is just one system of kali/arnis. there are so many instructors and systems in the philippines. a lot want to share, but few want to learn. so many locals still have colonial mentality and prefer foreign arts like taekwondo and karate. which is unfortunate. a lot of the masters are old and some are dead. the americans liked it and that is why so many instructors are foreign.
