Hi! loving the tutorials. Was wondering if I could ask a quick question on one of the points I got stuck on. It was wit the gaussian blur, every time I applied it to the black layer, no matter how big i set it, there was always a defined line at the edge of the blur, it doesn't seem to want to blend at all :S Even at 50 it looks a lot less blurred that on your video.
I wouldn't ask, it's just it's frustrating not to be able to get past this bit. Thanks in advance, J

i tried to do the same thing in the video..but every time i fill a new layer with black backround color it takes so much time.. what do you think causes it?...
especially when the height and width is set to 1000 and its pixels set to 100..?
it slows up cs4...
i have windows 7 os..
and my graphics card is nvidia..
what do u think is the prob?

I can't believe you don't have more comments yet! This tutorial helped me in more ways then you probably think. MUCH needed tutorial. I'm no longer intimidated by Photoshop LOL! You spoke very clearly, resolution of the video is acceptable. I hope you do more tutorials!
