Rodini motor minus the rotor and with the trigger coil changed, and the circuit in a box instead of loose on the board. The new coil and smaller transistor enable a solid-state resonant mode. It will still spin a rotor, but the charging effects are better without one.

The capacitor bank charges up in seconds. A 14W flourescent bulb across the cap charge lines (in parallel) lights to full brightness and brings the cap charge down to around 120V where it settles (while still maintaining light brightness). Power source is currently 40V DC, the effects continue down to around 36V and then below that the CFL doesn't stay lit. Amp draw is .22A. So, 40 volts times 0.22 amps is 8.8 watts consumed.

Two LEDs attached only to a small pickup coil are used to display the fluctuation of the magnetic field around the inside of the Rodin Coil.

  • brilliant ( no pun intended ) !!

    schematic pleeeeeeeeeeease,

if you can post it, i will get this up and running when i get back from work this evening.

    Thanks

  • hey rave! I have posted the diagram and some notes at Energetic Forum under the new thread "Rodin Coil Tests and Replications". Cheers :-)

  • gemi dude Wonderful work! Please post a schematic somewhere, maybe the Rodin coil group, so we can replicate your work. I want to make it work with my small Rodin coils.

    Aloha

  • Hi Jack S - thanks again! I looked for the Rodin Coil group on google and I couldn't find the one you're in - send me a PM with a link. I have posted the schematic and notes at Energetic Forum under "Rodin Coil Tests and Replications" thread.

Hope things are good at your end!

  • holy, talk about awesome buddy

  • very very intersting project for an open mind like me .. is anybody tryied to put a sperical bearing in levitation another coil like thins on top an run it as an atom??

  • man, you r brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • so the rodin coil actually acts as the rotor?

do your winds go in same or separate directions?

    great work!!!!!!!

  • so the rodin coil actually acts as the rotor?

    great work!!!!!!!

  • YES ... great idea! I would be very interested in any input you have on that idea of yours. I would like to fully suspend a 1" neo sphere magnet in the field and rotate it and create a torsion field. Get to work and stay in touch!

  • GEm Im sure you have seen the vids by hhoforvolts about his starship RC. It seems like he's onto something and his vids are very informative. What YOU think? Happy motoring......

  • GEM...I STILL havn't built my first RC yet! BUT, I have finished my tesla coil (always a work in progress) as my main tool for investigating the RC. I have a visualization that involves inducing a HV Hhz into the RC from both directions diametrically. Anyway keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to your next presentation... Scott
