ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- A phone call made by Tommy Croslin, one of the last people who claims to have seen Haleigh Cummings alive, was released Thursday by his attorney.

The phone call was made by Croslin, to his grandmother in Nashville last month. She told Action News that in that phone call, Croslin told her he knew what happened to Haleigh the night she disappeared.

According to Croslin's attorney, James Werter, he released the phone call to demonstrate how Tommy decided to come forth voluntarily to law enforcement to provide information regarding her disappearance.

"Tommy has been cooperating with law enforcement since April 11, 2010 (when he made the phone call)," Werter said. "We have met with Putnam County Sheriff's Office and FDLE agents twice for extended periods to review the activities of the evening and early morning February 9, 2009."

In a released statement Werter said it remains his position that Tommy Croslin, Jr. has cooperated fully despite his fear for his family.

@DotiBump Still no answers really on Haleigh. Misty you would think would talk at this point Tommy last person she named but also has implicated cousin Joe as did Tommy Misty took that back, Misty also tried to say Ron guilty Haleigh took his pills, did not work, no answers. Me thinks if Misty does not talk must be guilty.
