@dodgedart74 There's a lot of stuff going on to act as a USB host -- I'm not even sure if you'd be able to use the hardware on the port. you'd be better off with the usb host shield
they ARE mini, hey man i got a question, how hard would it be to wire up an old USB female port to an arduino duemilianove? the usb only has four ports, and two of them are power, think its possible to use a usb serial input on a arduino without a fancy shield?
