  • Can this be done with any kind of acorn?

We have a tree and my dog eats tons of the acorns. It got me thinking that we should be harvesting them for food. It seems most of them go to waste this time of year.

  • Wow, those are some very large acorns. In the fall i collected a lot of the acorns from local white oaks..not sure which species, but it has been an amazing goat feed! She eats em whole, shell and all...hmmm..tree crops... A permanent agriculture!?!?
