How to fold a flat nappy, either terry square, muslin square or flannel square (but with flannel you can snappi it). Please ask questions if you need. These require a waterproof cover, either fleece (like Malden Mills fleece), PUL a breathable waterproof fabric or wool that has been lanolised.

  • Hi-

Can you tell me where to find those at ikea? I searched their website and I can not figure out what they are calling those 3 packs. Thank you so much!

  • @Nouterbud

It wont let me put the link up, I will PM it to you.

    They are 3 in a pack for $8, I bought 4 packs i think.

  • This vid is reeeeaaally helpful. I have just started using flat nappies on my 7 month old and couldnt get to grips on how to make them tighter round the legs! thanks!

  • @BabiBearJay Oh great, I'm glad it helped, flats is all I mainly used on my first, I still use them with my second who is 17 months and plan on using them with this 3rd bub. Yeh you just have to bring up the sides twice and then roll in the legs once it is snappi'd on.

  • This is so helpful! Thanks

  • @babymac004 No worries, I like being able to use different nappies and different folds, it keeps it interesting :)

  • Hi there

Love the video it has helped me so much. I was wondering where you got those snappi things? Thanks

  • Thanks for that. I ended up getting some baby beehinds. They are really good over the squares. Am now sewing my own inners to make it easier for dad and when I'm out and about (my boy is incredibly wriggly). Just need to get some snap pliers and I will be in business. Hopefully the snaps will be too hard for him to open - Velcro is just not a big enough challenge anymore. The joys!!! Thanks again for the advice. You have given me the confidence to give this cloth thing a real go. His persistent

  • @coraliechen I'm glad my video helped. Baby Beehind covers are really good quality and fit well over flat nappies and are pretty cheap, I think they are around $10 or $12 each. I also use Thirsties covers, they are quite generous in size and have leg gussets which is great to help with leakage, you can also get them in a duo cover it comes in 2 sizes. Size 1 fits NB and small and size 2 fits med and large. You would have to buy them online though. I buy PUL from snaps aust or nappies covered.

  • Thanks for the video! I have just started using cloth nappies on my 8 month old. Just wondering where you sourced your PUL covers (or pul fabric) or which ones you recommend? There does not seem to be too much variety in the Sydney baby stores.
