When can you surf there. I've been there and the waves are huge

you cant really, i was lucky enough to get invited by burton to surf for the "grand opening". we put on a demo during the day and got to surf it a few times alone. there was also a great lakes ESA contest later in the season but i dont think anyone has been able to get a session since then.

@megaitachi888 its in wisconson dells at mt olympus and its really fun they have 2 waterparks go cart tracks roller coaster rides u need to go there dude!!!! its just amazing!!!! so is the wilderness and noahs ark the wildernesss has a waterride called the hurricane and its freaking crazy hoipe u go there and tell me when u do i might see u there lol if i now what u look like!!!

@megaitachi888 this is at mt olympus at WI Dells. This is a huge pool with sand at the shore. Every 5 min a 9 foot wave comes right at you. This was not 9 feet because this was just the opening.

i was there like 2 years ago and i stayed in the shallows so the waves could only wash me back a little bit (compared to being up front) so this year im going to go up front but wear goggles for two reasons.

1.last year i got elbowed in the eye :(

2.i can go up front and still b able to c where im goin :)

when the waves are really big, theyre like 3x taller than you, and when the waves hit you when you want to touch the ground its like 8 feet deep...kinda scary if you cant swim.

ahahahaha, i'm looking at these guys right now... this was only for the opening :)

i was working this summer on poseidon rage, and, we we're shouting all the time at guys who were constantly grabbing the rope, and tossing them out from the pool... oooo, that was sweet :) hehe, my point is, that, there's a rope, which u can't cross, and the brow line there is just there, for no reason !

I don't think you can ever, I think they had those surfers there for the opening. They got a brown line on the wall and it says strong swimmers can go beyond it but like a foot after the line there's a rope. So you can only go a foot past the line.
