Superman, who stands for Truth, Justice and the American Way. Call this piece a political statement. If you get it, you get it; if not, hey fat Superman's got to be worth a chuckle, right?

  • HAHA! dipshits

  • @MooresTV That's definitely the reason for some. Maybe even most. But many of America's founding fathers, not just THE Founding Fathers, were men who led their families with honor and godliness. That's the only reason we have to thank for whatever greatness and power we obtained. Everything started going down hill when pride and greed captured the masses. So like us or dislike us, there is much to thank America for (Ahem... the Internet? Computers? Cars? Etc.)

  • @GeekingForJesus If I had to guess, I'd say a small percentage of the reason some Europeans dislike Americans is loyalty to the monarchy, which holds a certain level of class and appeal even to Americans, themselves. Mostly, though, I think it's America's short, but storied history. From Europe's standpoint, it must seem that we continually sin and never really pay for it - whether it's our own Civil War and civil rights record or our foreign wars such as Vietnam and the current one.

  • @jorson2 Ha ha. You're absolutely right. I don't know what it is, but Americans are so disliked by Europeans. To be honest, though, I get jealous when I think others are better than me at stuff.

  • I get it. Americans are fat. Brits aren't? Ever seen Winston Churchill? Alfred Hitchcock? For that matter, have you ever heard of them? Great men. Both Brits. Both fat. Also, is it just me, or does your fat Superman look black, or maybe Hispanic? I can't tell, but it's certainly not Caucasian. Is that a statement, too, or just an accident? Then again, I doubt that physical fat is the REAL point of the statement. Yay. Another anti-American Brit. You make the case for U.S. unilateralism.
