After a night of drinking I met another amputee. She had lost her leg in a freak accident, but tells most people that she lost it while fighting in the war in Afghanistan. Her reasons? To have a more interesting story to tell people. What do you think? Is that wrong? Check Out my Other Videos as well. Thank You!!!
I think you are right on. Does she need such stroking by the sympathetic remarks of those she tells this to?

Don't lie about your amputation. I have a friend that lost his right leg to cancer. One day while at the crocery store this eldery man came up to us gave him a big hug and thanked him for serving our country and sacraficing his leg.
The man was in tears.
My friend told him the truth regarding his amputation and the elderly man was so embarrased
We thought it was kind of funny.

Rick, Thanks for posting this. Honesty is the best policy every time (unless you're lying to someone about their wonderful Christmas gift...). You've nothing to hide, and there's no reason why people should respect you any more or less because of what actually happened to you. In fact they will like you a lot more if you are completely honest!

I agree the truth is always better, besides I'd wanna know what really happened, not a made up story.

I would agree with you on this as well if you lie about it don't use war as the lie.
