Since it's the holidays, I decided to do a commentary on this scene from "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer". After watching the film, I came up with a lot of things to comment about, so here it is.

Lol, the animation in this film stinks.

To comment on your last idea about the feature length movie, they've already made a full length Rudolph movie.
It's traditionally animated, prominatnly features the voice of Whoopi Goldberg, and honestly has NO connection to the Rankin/Bass special. It's not too bad, just not spectacular or anything.
But if Tim Burton ever got his hands on a Rudolph project, I can't imagine how much Hell would break loose.
