  • Russia designed it and gave Finland to build it.

  • ..Paris peace contract deaccept manufacture submarines. Base point why Finland stop make subs is USA.. who say: We don't buy anyting from Rauma-Repola if these sell any other submarines to russian.

    But who make first WW subs to Germany :) ..

  • Subs were sold to the USSR and handed over to the P.P. Shirshov Institute of Oceanology.

  • Why didn't Finns use the subs for themself then, if they are so smart and have invented something that unique?

  • Those two subs were built and designed in Finland by the company Rauma-Repola Oceanics in the 80s.
