Stansfield was hot in her day musically, that's a bad bitch right there (African American slang for a women who is smokin' hot and who is the shiznit in her career). When she was at the height of her career I was in elementary school but I knew who she was and that she could sing her ass off.
She had soul in her voice and her music went across all color lines, everybody liked her. I miss her music. Sigh.
