@SethHesio of course i do. he's just more funny than i am--a lot more funny--and i was being realistic in asking, "What would I know?" he has the credentials to be considered a great comedian, now to my knowledge, and that can be disputed only by those with the credentials to criticize him i think.

@xchn1 I'm not comparing you in comedic ability... I just feel he is a great comedian for all that he has done and the individual mark he has put on the comedic map, makes him a comedian. Do you see what I'm saying?

@xchn1 He's an exceptional comedian. He improvs, he's written for the Simpsons, he interviews and thinks of things on the spot in reaction to guests, he does stand up, he's written sketches for SNL (not a great show, but his sketches were) and is exceptionally funny in general.... how is he not a great comedian?

He's not the king of comedy. He's a king between 2 other hosts. That is his realm. People just like his persona. He's friendly, fun, and recovers so well. This doesn't make a great comedian. This makes a great TV personality.
