This song breaks my heart. My father died of lung cancer, and I'd go and visit my family and see him sitting in a rocking chair in front of the fireplace, trying to stay warm. For those of you who are trying to turn this song into something gross, go fuck yourselves. You've never had to witness the true pain of someone dying, and the sadness of knowing that you cannot do anything to help. The chair still sits in front of the fireplace, even though he's gone. We just can't move it yet.

It is about him coming home and finding his father dead in his favorite chair!... he had beeen dead fir 3 weeks in an 88 degreee room... his eyes had roted out of their socketrs and gooey stuff was running out of every orifice he had. Flys, maggots and knats were all over the place as slimmy gooey yukky stuff had even run down onto the floor... what a mess !!! This was the inspiration for this song.... sometimes he crys while singing it... totally understandable!
