I Agree that Bb2 by White is not the best move. Ne4 is playable as you state, and I think that I recommended Nc4 where it guards d6 (and with the idea of playing it to e3 where it guards g4). I think that either Ne4 or Nc4 are better than Bb2.

I think 15th. Ne4 (not Bb2) Ne2 blocks the bishop on Bb7 and may exchange f6Night 15...NxN on e4 16.BxN, bxb 17 Qxb making the night move or stopping the bishop from hanging the night . Just a thought.
