iv been fitting 11 years that thing looks like it overstrech might b handy for sum situations or restreches but for general fitting a knee kicker will always win cos of speed and ease of use and like ppl sed its a power stretcher and how many ppl use them these days?

It looks like you can only stretch 3 feet from the set point. Your first demo of setting the base on the gray carpet and stretching the hell out of the rose carpet proves that you cannot get a proper stretch on just a 3 set and stretch. It is probably fine most jobs where a small stretch is only needed. Good luck, I hope you do well
