Acoustic music (Chilean miners rescue)

Acoustic original song ...After spending almost 15 years in the mining industry it gave me great pleasure today to see the rescue of the 33 Chilean miners ..I wrote and recorded this song today as a celebration that they're all safe and pretty much OK after their ordeal.(They were brought to the surface in a cage they nick named the Phoenix) hence the song title...I don't really consider this a song, more like my happy thoughts of the day put to a tune.

Today I saw the Phoenix rising, 33 smiles to the top
all through the day and all through the night
the Phoenix it never stopped

Out of the dark and into the light, like Lazarus of old
we prayed through the day and prayed through the night
as the story did unfold

Some were young and some were old, some were stronger than others
some were friends and some were not, but all came out as brother's
as the Phoenix flew, as the Phoenix flew

Father's and Mother's Sister's and Brother's, waiting at the top
children praying everybody saying, I hope it doesn't stop
but the Phoenix flew, the Phoenix flew, the Phoenix flew

Rising out of the Earth on golden wings
and diving again to rescue these mortal things, we're just mortal things

Today I saw a Phoenix rising...etc
