Scenes from the film Uprising by Jon Avnet. This film follows the Jewish Fighting Organization and it's struggle. During the uprising there was a second main group called the ZZW Jewish Military Union that acquired 2 mounted machine guns as well a several submachine guns supplied by the individuals in the AK Arma Krajowa home army that allowed the ZZW to inflict heavy losses against the Germans. In reality the scale of fighting was much larger then portrayed in the movie, with official death toll of German soldiers at over 600.

@strappingYungLad Many of you who are commenting here are simply speculating and obviously haven't read the factual reports to the uprising. There were multiple large scale battles fought over the course of the 28 Days of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. During this time the Germans certainly did bomb the Ghetto and used Artillery to shell it as well. Throughout the battles that were fought the Germans lost over 600. Try reading some primary sources or books.

@usmc123100 considering that they were caught by surprise by an armed group that used the terrain to an advantage...tank are no good in urban zones unless you want to blow apart the whole building.

In this film the SS troops were made to look like a bunch of amateurs - more like pin balls. Are they that clownish this in historical battles depiction?

@nikemac84 it's actually not even an authentic Tiger 1, but an immitation of one. It makes sense, I mean where the hell are you gonna get a real Tiger 1 tank?
