There was this really cool child in the pit on the saturday. She was on her dads shoulder singing and waving her hands. She looked like she was having a ball. She was only about five id say.I guess if they really like Bruce then why not but she was very young.I dunno would I do it.

Thats really awesome. You are so lucky! Its also great that you and your daughter both like him and share the experience together.Thats really cool.Hes a gorgeous guy,I probably would have fainted that close so maybe its best I was away from him!
It was my first time seeing him and had a great time despite being soaked!!We didnt get into the pit but the area behind. couldnt travel up til saturday but we did well considering.
I thought they took kids from the queue?Much safer that way.

we were there sat. too! flew in from london, joined queue at 10.00am and we were 1 back from the front . my daughter is 17 though. i personally wouldn't take anyone under 10, and i have never seen anyone given priority from the queue because of kids.cardiff was best we were on the edge of the middle stage extension , he was right above us and that was something else, a night to remember. sound brilliant and the vibe great, well worth it. you can't explain to people who don't get it.!

Noon?wow thats a long day.Was that early enough? There were people queuing for days before hand for the Saturday concert.
We only went up on the day,we are from Cork so had work and were delayed so we hadnt a hope.Must be alot of fun being in the pit?Great memory to have for sure.
Some nice clear footage. Well done! Just out of interest though, look at the crowd....why are people so obsessed & addicted to them damned mobile phones? It never ceases to amaze me that when you go to a live show people are more interested in trying to capture a piece of shockingly bad footage on a mobile phone than 'experience the live event as it happens!' As they say in America..'Go figure!'

see, that's why I only have filmed some small snippets of the show - just because I wanted to see the rest of it. the real close-ups with bruce standing in front of us were pure chaos: me standing there, the camera in the right hand, my left hand at his left leg (yes, I touched him!), and my eyes on bruce. really hard work...

but to be honest, in real life, I'm a tv camerawoman, and I just can't be completely without taping - you just can't get it out of me, though my camera is a really cheap one with no features, just the rec button.
but I have to say, I am SO greatful that there are people taping the whole show and sharing their stuff with us! to have vids of a bruce show you've been a part of is one of the greatest things on earth - you can share that memory with your grandchildren - talking 'bout GLORY DAYS...

we arrived at noon. this wouldn't have worked, but we had luck in the pit, too, because 2 people in front of us left their spots and never came back!
